Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, support new business, and ensure account retention through focused client service and accurate policy administration.

Active property & casualty license required; CIC or equivalent preferred. 3–5 years of account management or insurance experience; strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Active property & casualty license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities and resolve complex issues.
• Maintain policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals; conduct research and present proposals.
• Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
