Job Overview

As an Account Manager, Business Sales, you will build strong relationships and drive business growth by implementing solution-based sales strategies and uncovering new opportunities. You will develop new business within your assigned accounts through a consultative approach, providing strategic direction on mobility solutions, deployment planning, and cost analysis.

You will manage existing accounts, focusing on minimizing churn and ensuring timely delivery of solutions. This includes performing upgrades, providing reporting and billing support, and responding to client issues. You will also create business plans to expand within existing accounts, identify customer needs to drive incremental sales, and stay updated on industry trends. Additionally, you will utilize sales tools to manage the sales funnel and generate reports, ensuring all internal departments meet customer needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Manage existing assigned accounts with a focus on base management to minimize churn. Perform upgrades/device management; provide reporting and billing support; respond to client issues via email/voicemail. Ensure timely delivery of solutions aligned with customer needs. Track device utilization and share marketing materials. Partner with Client Sales Executives to plan Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and make recommendations.
  • Business Planning: Develop a business plan with Client Sales Executives on a “land and expand” strategy to identify additional contacts and sales opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Customer Needs: Identify customer needs and use solution-based selling to upsell and drive incremental sales. Assist with account activities such as adds, changes, and deletes.
  • Knowledge Update: Continuously update knowledge of wireless products, services, industry trends, and marketplace dynamics. Participate in training and sales meetings to enhance skills and stay informed.
  • Sales Tools: Fully utilize sales automation, funnel management, and prospecting tools. Manage the sales funnel, generate reports, and ensure internal departments fulfill responsibilities to retain customers.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years proven experience in selling to accounts as an Account Manager or similar role (Required)
  • 2-4 years of wireless, telecom, technology, or B2B experience (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Sales: Proven track record of delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs, ensuring high customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships. (Required)
  • Communication: Effective communication, presentation, and influence skills at all organizational levels, including executives. (Required)
  • Presentations: Develop and customize impactful client presentations addressing key sales propositions. (Required)
  • Sales Support Tools: Proficiency in CRM software like Salesforce, and MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. (Required)

Compensation
