Account Manager - Sales/Business Development

About This Role

This remote role requires understanding of Enterprise Account Management, professional services delivery, and building successful relationships with senior management in Energy Services and Energy Management sectors. You will manage existing accounts and generate new business with large national accounts (Retail, Restaurants, Banks, multi-site operators).

Job Responsibilities
  1. Own the sales process from prospecting to closing multi-year contracts.
  2. Engage with Fortune 500 companies based on the organization's focus list.
  3. Collaborate with senior management to understand needs and present tailored solutions.
  4. Coordinate with engineering and presales teams for solution customization.
  5. Work with facilities, Energy, Procurement, and Legal teams during negotiations.
  6. Provide weekly sales reports and account plans.
  7. Strategize with internal teams for account pursuits and solutions.
  8. Work with global teams across time zones.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years in Account Management and new business development in Energy Management/Services.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years engaging senior management with demos and new technologies.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate degree.
  • Self-driven with interest in technology, data science, and analytics.
  • Willingness to work occasional late evenings or early mornings.
  • Experience with AI, IoT, EMS, building automation systems.
