Job Overview

As an Account Manager, Business Sales, you will build strong relationships and drive business growth by implementing solution-based sales strategies and uncovering new opportunities. You will develop new business within your assigned accounts through a consultative approach, providing strategic direction on mobility solutions, deployment planning, and cost analysis.

You will manage existing accounts, focusing on minimizing churn and ensuring timely delivery of solutions. This includes performing upgrades, providing reporting and billing support, and responding to client issues. You will also create business plans to expand within existing accounts, identify customer needs to drive incremental sales, and stay updated on industry trends. Additionally, you will utilize sales tools to manage the sales funnel and generate reports, ensuring all internal departments meet customer needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Manage existing assigned accounts to minimize churn, perform upgrades/device management, provide reporting and billing support, respond to client issues, and ensure timely delivery of solutions. Track device utilization and partner with sales teams for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
  • Business Planning: Develop a 'land and expand' strategy with sales partners to identify additional contacts and sales opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Customer Needs: Identify customer needs, utilize solution-based selling to upsell, and assist with account activities such as adds, changes, and deletes.
  • Knowledge Update: Stay informed on wireless products, industry trends, and marketplace dynamics through ongoing training and market research.
  • Sales Tools: Use CRM and sales automation tools effectively to manage the sales funnel, generate reports, and coordinate with internal departments.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years proven sales experience in account management or similar roles (Required)
  • 2-4 years wireless, telecom, technology, or B2B experience (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Sales: Proven success in delivering tailored solutions and building long-term customer relationships. (Required)
  • Communication: Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills at all organizational levels. (Required)
  • Presentations: Ability to develop impactful, tailored presentations for clients. (Required)
  • Sales Support Tools: Proficiency in CRM software like Salesforce and MS Office applications. (Required)

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation
