Job summary

CBX Solutions seeks an Account Manager to serve as a trusted advisor for clients, identifying Audio-Visual needs and coordinating with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions. You will manage relationships, present capabilities, and ensure accurate proposals and timelines across assigned accounts.

The role emphasizes consultative sales, technical acumen, and strong project coordination with engineering, project management, and estimating teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Audio-Visual systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills; manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Self-motivated and collaborative, with commitment to exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, general contractors, and construction managers across assigned accounts and territories.
• Identify and qualify opportunities for Audio-Visual Systems through proactive outreach and territory management.
• Conduct onsite and virtual presentations highlighting capabilities in Audio-Visual solutions.
• Coordinate with internal brands to align access control and opening requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and estimating teams to prepare scopes, pricing, and timelines.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, RFP responses, quotes, and technical documentation.
• Manage sales pipeline and data integrity in CRM tools (e.g., ConnectWise).
• Stay informed of product developments, emerging technologies, and competitor activity.
• Facilitate handoffs to project and operations teams for smooth execution.
• Participate in regular sales meetings and training via internal platforms.
