Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks an Account Manager Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support within the account team. You will work with minimal direction from senior staff to ensure accurate policy administration, renewals, and service delivery for a portfolio of commercial accounts.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in insurance customer service, active P&C licensing, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active property & casualty licensing required; professional designation preferred.
• 7+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions and present proposals.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate with the account team on workload status and issues.
• Support continuous improvement and uphold IOA values.
