Insurance Office of America (IOA) in Los Angeles area is seeking an Account Manager Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, ensuring accurate policy administration, renewals, and billing while safeguarding against liability.

The role requires active P&C license and a strong service mindset. You will collaborate with AM/AE/Producer, process tasks on time, and contribute to service excellence while upholding IOA values.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty licensing required; professional designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of support staff and Account teams.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status to the team and stakeholders.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively meet client needs.
