Position Summary:
As a Property & Casualty Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering excellent service to current clients while efficiently managing and expanding a portfolio of business. This role requires cultivating strong client relationships, offering additional insurance products, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction to foster loyalty and drive agency revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build Strong Client Relationships: Understand each client’s specific needs, provide responsive support, and deliver top-notch service to develop lasting connections.
- Proactive Communication: Regularly engage with clients to not only meet but exceed their expectations, identifying areas where coverage can be customized to better suit their needs.
- Account Management: Oversee both new and renewed accounts by assessing risk, recommending coverage options, and ensuring they align with underwriting standards.
- Maintain Client Records: Ensure accurate and efficient management of client data, process endorsements, and issue policies with precision and speed.
- Renewal and Expiration Management: Review reports on policy renewals and expirations to create action plans aimed at maximizing client retention and satisfaction.
- Grow Business Through Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional policies that align with clients’ evolving needs and risk profiles.
- Expert Guidance: Use your knowledge of insurance products and industry trends to offer clients informed, expert advice and the best coverage strategies.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Act as a liaison between clients, producers, underwriters, and agency management, ensuring smooth communication and cooperation.
- Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up with the latest industry developments, carrier updates, and best practices by participating in training and development programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in account management, customer service, or sales within the insurance industry.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Licensing: Active Florida 220 Insurance License is a must.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with Property & Casualty Insurance.
- Additional Education: A bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Commercial Lines Expertise: Strong understanding of commercial lines insurance, including coverage options, policies, procedures, and underwriting guidelines.
- Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain solid client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize and manage day-to-day tasks efficiently.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical thinking with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Communication Skills: Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Compensation:
- Salary Range: $45,000-55,000 annually, plus Bonus/Commission based on experience.
