Position Summary:

As a Property & Casualty Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering excellent service to current clients while efficiently managing and expanding a portfolio of business. This role requires cultivating strong client relationships, offering additional insurance products, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction to foster loyalty and drive agency revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build Strong Client Relationships: Understand each client’s specific needs, provide responsive support, and deliver top-notch service to develop lasting connections.
  • Proactive Communication: Regularly engage with clients to not only meet but exceed their expectations, identifying areas where coverage can be customized to better suit their needs.
  • Account Management: Oversee both new and renewed accounts by assessing risk, recommending coverage options, and ensuring they align with underwriting standards.
  • Maintain Client Records: Ensure accurate and efficient management of client data, process endorsements, and issue policies with precision and speed.
  • Renewal and Expiration Management: Review reports on policy renewals and expirations to create action plans aimed at maximizing client retention and satisfaction.
  • Grow Business Through Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional policies that align with clients’ evolving needs and risk profiles.
  • Expert Guidance: Use your knowledge of insurance products and industry trends to offer clients informed, expert advice and the best coverage strategies.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Act as a liaison between clients, producers, underwriters, and agency management, ensuring smooth communication and cooperation.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up with the latest industry developments, carrier updates, and best practices by participating in training and development programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in account management, customer service, or sales within the insurance industry.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Licensing: Active Florida 220 Insurance License is a must.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • Additional Education: A bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Commercial Lines Expertise: Strong understanding of commercial lines insurance, including coverage options, policies, procedures, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain solid client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize and manage day-to-day tasks efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical thinking with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $45,000-55,000 annually, plus Bonus/Commission based on experience.
