Jobtailor is seeking a detail‑oriented account operations specialist in the United States (New Jersey) to support account creation, onboarding, and ongoing maintenance. You will work with internal partners and external clients, handling documentation, approvals, and data integrity while ensuring timely responses across channels.

The role emphasizes process control, compliance with guidelines, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Ability to find and resolve data inconsistencies in highly detailed documents and systems
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Experience interacting with partners via email and chat
• Ability to be flexible within the hours of 8:00 AM–6:00 PM Monday through Friday
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage large caseloads and execute within short deadlines
• Ability to use multiple systems and applications to complete individual tasks accurately and efficiently
• Ability to apply established procedures to daily processing
• Experience, studies, or knowledge in operations, banking, account management and/or customer service
• Ability to apply knowledge to improve processes
• 40 hours per week
• 1st shift (United States of America)

Responsibilities

• Support the creation, onboarding, and maintenance of accounts according to established guidelines and procedures
• Provide quality service and effective operations support for internal business partners and external clients
• Assist in training less experienced team members
• Review and process account opening and maintenance requests and supporting documentation
• Validate documentation, complete required updates, and determine requirements for account openings or updates
• Approve or complete cases and obtain legal review or approved exceptions when needed
• Monitor asset and cash transfers, resolve outstanding items, and complete final request reviews
• Respond to client inquiries through multiple channels, provide status updates, return items for missing information, and confirm completion
• Execute control reports, store required evidence, perform quality reviews, correct defects, and ensure accounts are opened or updated accurately
• Understand end-to-end process flow, controls, risks, and upstream/downstream impacts
