Job description

Account Executive – Walmart

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and driven Account Executive to support and manage our partnership with Walmart. This role will focus on executing sales strategies, managing the end-to-end wholesale process, and building strong cross-functional relationships to drive sell-through and grow market share within the Walmart channel. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day communication with Walmart’s buying, merchandising and planning teams
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Walmart’s seasonal strategies, customer demographics, and category performance
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from line presentation through order confirmation, production follow-up, product allocation and delivery
  • Build strong internal relationships across design, merchandising, planning, and logistics to ensure Walmart-specific needs are met

Sales Strategy, Execution & Assortment Planning

  • Collaborate with Walmart buying and merchandising teams to forecast sales, identify growth opportunities, and track performance to seasonal sales goals
  • Allocate product assortments to top-performing doors to maximize visibility, sell-through, and regional performance
  • Prepare and present seasonal line reviews and recap decks for internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with internal teams to develop exclusive programs and customized assortments for Walmart

Order Management & Operational Execution

  • Oversee order entry, confirmations, and changes to ensure accuracy and timely execution
  • Collaborate with production and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any shipment issues
  • Manage replenishment orders, inventory levels, and promotional buys in alignment with Walmart’s in-season needs
  • Track and reconcile weekly shipping and sales performance

Reporting & Analysis

  • Create and maintain weekly and monthly sales reports, highlighting wins, risks, and recommendations
  • Perform in-depth analysis on sell through, margin performance, and product-level success
  • Provide post-season recaps and insights to inform future line development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field
  • Five + years of experience in wholesale account management, preferably with a mass or big-box retailer
  • Demonstrated experience with Retail Link is required
  • Three + years of experience managing a Walmart account
  • Strong understanding of retail math, sales reporting, and forecasting
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume accounts with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • . A Team player with a collaborative, can-do attitude
  • Available to travel to Bentonville Arkansas four times per a year

The pay range for this position is: $75,000 per year -$105,000 per year
