Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop strong professional relationships—via phone and e-mails—to sell freight transportation brokerage services.
• Provide full cycle customer service from contract to delivery.
• Understand customers’ shipping needs and negotiate rates.
• Contact carriers to find efficient shipping options and provide order tracking.
• Manage multiple priorities and maintain flow of business information with urgency.
• Contact customers daily to generate revenue and maintain relationships.
• Identify sales opportunities and close sales.
