Diamond Baseball Holdings is seeking an Account Executive to join the Salem RidgeYaks’ dynamic Ticket Sales team in Salem, VA. You’ll drive new business, manage client relationships, and contribute to fan engagement and retention at Carilion Clinic Field.

Ideal candidates bring a hunter mentality, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset to deliver outstanding experiences for clients while supporting team-based sales initiatives and long-term growth of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Represent the organization professionally in the community.
• Generate new business by prospecting, cold calling, appointments, stadium tours, and events.
• Renew all group, hospitality, and season ticket members.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to create sales programs.
• Maintain a database of contacts and sales progression using Provenue/Tickets.com.
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals.
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly outbound call/appointment minimums.
• Support operations when needed.

Position Overview

Salem RidgeYaks is actively seeking an Account Executive to join its highly dynamic Ticket Sales Team. We believe that Ticket Sales is a vital part of our teams' performance, and our Account Executives play a critical role in that success. We are looking for someone who is interested in growing within the sports industry and curious to learn the inner workings of our business at every level. The individual in this position is expected not only to be an exceptional salesperson but also to deliver outstanding customer service to all clients to ensure fan retention and to establish a positive experience with the brand.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Represent the organization with the utmost professionalism in the community
• Generate new business by prospecting, cold calling, appointments, stadium tours, and attending networking/community events
• Renew all group, hospitality, and season ticket members
• Work closely with sales and marketing departments to develop compelling sales programs and components focused on long-term business sustainability
• Maintain a database of contacts and sales progression using Provenue/Tickets.com
• Meet and/or exceed personal sales goals
• Meet and/or exceed daily and weekly outbound call/appointment minimums
• Contribute to overall operation by “answering the call” when assistance is needed in another area of our operation
