Job Summary

The Account Executive – RFS will be responsible for managing existing accounts and developing new business. The role involves identifying and cultivating new customer relationships for Ryder Fuel Services (RFS), conducting research and prospecting, expanding industry networks, and educating prospects on RFS services. The AE will also support current customer service efforts and analyze competitive influences and risks.

Essential Functions
  1. Sales Activity: Represent RFS services, collaborate with management, accounting, and operations to facilitate contracts, close deals, and support growth. Work with Ryder Sales Teams to identify synergies for expanding current services.
  2. Customer Experience: Enhance existing customer relationships, leverage resources to find new opportunities, support onboarding, and ensure customer satisfaction and feedback management.
  3. Business Development: Identify prospects, understand customer needs, prepare value-based proposals, plan sales activities to meet revenue targets, and respond proactively to leads.
  4. Administrative Support: Maintain prospect profiles, support marketing and educational efforts, and ensure effective communication within the team.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and improve sales skills, increase industry knowledge, and identify growth opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Customize RFS solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Adhere to company policies, including travel and expenses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Understanding of RFS products and financial drivers (required).

Compensation

Hourly, $31.30 - $39.47 per hour. Compensation may vary based on experience and other factors. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, paid time off, and a 401(k).
