Job Summary

The Account Executive – RFS will be responsible for managing existing accounts and developing new business for Ryder Fuel Services (RFS). The role involves researching prospects, developing industry networks, educating prospects about RFS services, supporting current customers, and understanding competitive influences and risks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Activities: Represent RFS services, collaborate with management and internal teams to facilitate contracts, close deals, and support growth and revenue targets.
  2. Customer Experience: Enhance existing customer relationships, create supportive relationships with stakeholders, and onboard new accounts ensuring proper orientation.
  3. Business Development: Identify prospects, understand customer needs, prepare value-based proposals, and develop sales plans to meet revenue goals.
  4. Administrative Support: Maintain account profiles, support marketing efforts, and ensure effective communication with the RFS team.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and improve sales skills and industry knowledge, and identify growth opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Understand how RFS solutions can be tailored to customer needs.
  • Adhere to Ryder’s policies, including travel and expense policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
