What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Present retirement plan and flexible spending account products to decision-makers and end users to close new sales
- Schedule appointments and visit potential referral sources, focusing on the financial advisor channel for securing referrals
- Utilize various prospecting methods, including phone calls and local marketing programs, to seek new clients
- Analyze prospects’ needs to recommend appropriate products and facilitate client satisfaction
- Complete and submit new business paperwork and expense reports accurately and timely, ensuring seamless service to clients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required
- Less than 1 year of relevant experience with successful completion of required training programs
- 2 years of experience in sales or sales management
- Ability to project a positive image and uphold the employer's reputation in the community
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development, including completion of SAFE examinations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Salesforce.com for tracking prospects and client notes
- Previous experience in retirement plan sales or related financial services
- Familiarity with the financial advisor community and investment services
- Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend solutions
