What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Present retirement plan and flexible spending account products to decision-makers for closing new sales
- Schedule appointments and visit potential referral sources, particularly within the financial advisor community
- Prospect new clients through various channels, including telephone, direct mail, and seminars
- Analyze client needs and recommend appropriate products, referring to the right parties when necessary
- Expedite resolution of client issues to ensure satisfaction and retention
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required
- Less than 1 year of relevant experience with successful completion of required training programs
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or sales management
- Ability to complete and submit accurate new business paperwork and expense reports
- Strong technical, competitive, and sales skills knowledge
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Salesforce.com for managing sales and client notes
- Previous experience in retirement plan sales or related financial services
- Demonstrated success in lead generation and closing sales
- Familiarity with SAFE examinations related to product knowledge
- Participation in training sessions or self-study modules related to the industry
