Heron Data in New York City is hiring an Account Executive who will own a book of business, set your own commercials, and lead a cross-functional team to close deals and get customers live. This is a high-ownership sales role in a fast-growing AI-focused fintech environment.

You will run full sales cycles, negotiate with C-level prospects, travel across the US to conferences and sites, and share in uncapped commissions and equity.

Qualifications

• A track record of excellence in a competitive, client-facing field.
• Evidence you can sell: show attainment, clients won, money raised, or a compelling application.
• Product and people minded: able to enter unfamiliar rooms and find where value lies with a technical product.
• Entrepreneurial spirit: ownership mindset, results-driven and fast-moving.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sales cycle from prospecting to close, with a mix of outbound and account-based techniques.
• Direct a cross-functional deal team (product, engineering, deployment) around the customer.
• Be present with customers, travel across the US from the NYC office to conferences and sites to stay top of mind.
