Job summary

CNR Lighting, a long-standing wholesale lighting distributor, seeks Account Executives to grow profitable sales across commercial and institutional markets in Baltimore, MD and Sterling, VA. You will manage customer relationships, conduct technical discovery, prepare quotations, and present solutions across lighting, controls, and distribution equipment.

Travel within the assigned market is required. The role emphasizes relationship-building, consultative selling, and meeting performance

Qualifications

• B2B/outside sales experience required or strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship skills.
• Able to learn CRM/sales tools and use MS Office effectively.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations and job sites.

Responsibilities

• Own the B2B sales process within the territory, from prospecting to closing.
• Develop new business through outbound prospecting and networking.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Sell lighting, controls, switchgear, or both as assigned.
• Coordinate pricing, quotations, and ROI/value presentations.
