Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring an Account Manager to drive revenue and strengthen customer relationships in the Columbia area. You will call on commercial, government and institutional customers, drive lighting projects, manage sales of products and services to an account base, and develop new customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of sales experience.
• Experience with electrical/lighting supplies.
• Ability to develop customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Calling on commercial, government and institutional customers as well as driving lighting projects.
• Manage the sales of products and services to account base.
• Develop new customer relationships.
• Regular end user joint calls with suppliers.
• Develop pricing strategy that enhances profitability.
• Quote prices and credit terms.
• Coordinate customer training.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues.
• Attend trade shows and meetings.
• Attend training as required by Capital Electric.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Other duties as required.
