Job summary

Bridgestone Hose Power is looking for an energetic Outside Sales Representative to drive sales and manage service to industrial customers in the Birmingham area. The role focuses on expanding existing accounts and bringing in new customers through product knowledge and a strong service mindset.

The ideal candidate will have a background in sales in industrial markets, with proven ability to open and develop accounts, maintain strong customer relationships, and deliver effective presentations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and service experience preferably in industrial markets.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic Hose preferred but not required
• Demonstrated progressive sales growth aptitude
• Demonstrated success in opening new accounts
• Demonstrated success in account retention and account development
• Excellent customer service and presentation skills
• Knowledge of maintenance and repair operations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent driving record
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Excel

Responsibilities

• Increase sales through selling our products and inventory management system to new customers and expanding business in already established accounts.
• Provide onsite service and support to customers
• Promote the Bridgestone Hose Power branch location and capabilities
