Job Title: Account Executive – Healthcare AI SaaS

Location: US (remote‑first with periodic on‑site client visits)

Our platform combines state‑of‑the‑art generative models, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and turnkey EHR integrations to drive clinical, operational, and financial impact—securely and at scale. As we accelerate growth in 2025 and beyond, we’re expanding our sales force with a high‑energy Account Executive who can close complex healthcare deals and become a trusted advisor to C‑suite stakeholders.

Role Overview: Reporting to the founder (CEO), the Account Executive (AE) owns the full sales cycle—from pipeline generation and discovery through negotiation, close, and post‑sale expansion. You will focus on SMB, mid‑market, and enterprise healthcare accounts, partnering closely with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to deliver AI‑powered outcomes that matter. Your blend of healthcare fluency, SaaS selling discipline, and familiarity with AI/ML will enable you to consistently meet or exceed quota while helping customers unlock new value.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Ownership

  • Consistently achieve and outperform quarterly and annual new‑business quotas (ARR).
  • Build, manage, and accurately forecast customer pipeline of qualified opportunities (MQL to SQL).

Strategic Prospecting & Discovery

  • Identify and engage ideal customer profiles (providers, payers, health‑tech and bio-tech/pharma) using outbound, inbound, and ecosystem channels.
  • Conduct executive‑level discovery to unearth pain points in diagnostics, patient management, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineers to deliver tailored product demos that translate AI/ML capabilities into clear ROI.
  • Craft business cases, proposals, and RFP responses that address clinical, technical, and key stakeholders (CMO, CTO/CIO, CEO).

Negotiation & Close

  • Navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder buying groups; manage legal, security, and compliance reviews (HIPAA, SOC 2).
  • Drive deals to closure with mutually beneficial terms while maintaining margin discipline.

Relationship Expansion

  • Transition closed‑won accounts to Customer Success, staying engaged to surface upsell/cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Act as a customer advocate, funneling market feedback to Product and Marketing.
  • Advancing customers from Explore (landing tier) to Build-Launch-Scale (advanced tiers) by linking to SLAs and business KPIs

Team & Process Excellence

  • Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene and leverage data to refine prospecting, messaging, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate in an agile, high‑velocity startup environment—sharing best practices and mentoring SDRs.
  • Familiarity with AI-Powered Sequencing (tools like Apollo, Clay, etc.), Account-Based Marketing (ABM), support roadshows, and events.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of quota‑carrying sales experience in SaaS or enterprise technology, with at least 2 years selling into healthcare organizations.
  • Documented history of meeting/exceeding $ 1 M+ ARR targets in complex, multi‑month sales cycles.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare workflows, EHR ecosystems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.), and regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH).
  • Solid grasp of AI/ML concepts (LLMs, predictive analytics, RAG) and ability to articulate their value to non‑technical buyers.
  • Exceptional communication—written, verbal, presentation—with the confidence to engage C‑suite executives and frontline clinicians alike.
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience closing $50-100k SaaS deals.
  • CRM mastery (HubSpot, Salesforce, or Monday.com) and familiarity with modern sales tech stack (Gong, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Self‑directed, goal‑oriented, and comfortable thriving in an early‑stage, ambiguous environment.
  • Background selling clinical, patient-facing, or administrative solutions in healthcare organizations.
  • Network within health systems, physicians, payers, or digital health companies.
