Job summary

Fortis Fire & Safety, a nationwide fire protection and security solutions provider, seeks an Account Executive for our Fire Alarm team in Boynton Beach, FL. You will develop and maintain client relationships, selling fire alarm and low voltage solutions, including installs, tenant improvements, retrofits, and integrated projects.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of fire alarm sales experience, knowledge of Florida codes, strong CRM/MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience selling fire alarm systems/services.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with Florida fire codes (NFPA 72, FBC).
• Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office Suite; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers focusing on Fire Alarm and low voltage installation services.
• Identify and pursue installation opportunities including new construction, tenant improvements, system upgrades/retrofits, and integrated low voltage projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate cross-functional solutions (fire sprinklers, security integration, life safety).
• Conduct site surveys, cold calls, and presentations to general contractors and property managers to generate leads.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, bids and proposals in the CRM.
• Respond promptly to inquiries, RFPs, and bid invitations; meet or exceed KPIs.
