What you'll do

The Enterprise CLM Account Executive is responsible for building enterprise-level relationships, selling Docusign’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and AI solutions. This role involves working with internal teams and partners, owning deals end to end, and acquiring new customers while expanding within existing accounts. The ideal candidate is curious, strategic, and skilled at relationship-building.

This position reports to the Regional Vice President, Enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual sales quotas to drive success for CLM and AI product goals
  • Build relationships with ecosystem partners like Microsoft, Salesforce, SAP, and System Integrators to generate pipeline
  • Qualify sales opportunities using Docusign’s sales methodology
  • Identify, develop, and close new CLM business; upsell and cross-sell within existing accounts
  • Leverage internal resources (e.g., Senior Executives, Presales, Legal) in sales campaigns
  • Collaborate with peers and partners to drive deals from pipeline to signature
  • Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue using sales tools

Job Designation

Remote: Employees work primarily from a remote location, with minimal requirement to be in an office. Job designations (In Office, Hybrid, Remote) are role-specific and subject to change based on business needs.

What you bring

Basic

  • 8+ years of complex enterprise software sales experience in a quota-carrying role, managing and closing large, complex sales cycles, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Willing to travel 25% or more as needed

Preferred

  • 12+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, preferably in team selling environments
  • Experience closing complex multi-solution sales, managing large Fortune 500 accounts
  • Strong C-Level network across large enterprises
  • Familiarity with Google Suite
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management, Legal Tech, AI solutions, or related technologies
  • Based in Chicago or the Northeast/Southeast US
