What you'll do

The Enterprise CLM Account Executive is responsible for building enterprise-level relationships, selling Docusign’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and AI solutions. This role involves working with internal teams and partners, owning deals end-to-end, acquiring new customers, and expanding within existing accounts. The ideal candidate is curious, strategic, and excels at relationship-building.

Responsibilities
  1. Drive success of the company’s CLM and AI product goals through achieving sales quotas.
  2. Cultivate relationships with ecosystem partners such as Microsoft, Salesforce, SAP, and System Integrators to generate pipeline.
  3. Qualify sales opportunities based on Docusign’s methodology, focusing on customer fit and success criteria.
  4. Identify and close new CLM business, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  5. Leverage internal resources (e.g., senior executives, presales, legal) in sales campaigns.
  6. Collaborate with peers and partners to drive deals from pipeline to signature.
  7. Forecast sales activity and revenue accurately using sales tools.
Job Designation

Remote: Employees work from a designated remote location most of the time. Job designations (In Office, Hybrid, Remote) are role-specific and subject to change based on business needs and local law.

What you bring
Basic
  • 8+ years of complex enterprise software sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Willingness to travel 25% or more as needed.
Preferred
  • 12+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, preferably in team selling environments.
  • Experience managing and closing complex multi-solution sales, including large deals and Fortune 500 accounts.
  • Strong C-Level contact portfolio across large enterprise accounts.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite.
  • Experience selling CLM, Legal Tech, AI solutions, or related technologies.
  • Based in Chicago or Northeast/Southeast US.
Wage Transparency

Pay varies by location and is based on experience and skills. Salary ranges include:

  • California: $114,400 - $172,100
  • Illinois and Colorado: $113,500 - $164,650
  • Washington, New Jersey, New York: $113,500 - $165,850
  • Washington DC: $114,400 - $165,850
Additional Compensation
  • Variable incentive pay based on sales goals.
  • Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
