Job summary

Cars Commerce is seeking a driven Account Executive to own the New Jersey territory, manage a book of existing customers, and drive growth across Cars Commerce’s portfolio of products. You will travel to client sites to build relationships and execute upsell strategies, while maintaining pipeline discipline and delivering measurable value.

The role emphasizes disciplined selling, strong quota attainment, and an interconnected, solution-selling approach across media and SaaS offerings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive B2B sales in media, digital advertising, marketing SaaS, or automotive solutions
• Proven multi-year quota attainment with specific figures and rankings
• Experience selling to SMB and mid‑market business leaders
• Strong Salesforce CRM usage with regular pipeline hygiene
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for Cars Commerce customers, focusing on retention, growth and success.
• Sell products and services to existing customers.
• Maintain relationships through regular in-person visits within the assigned territory.
• Respond to client inquiries and upsell opportunities.
• Execute sales strategy and close upsell opportunities.
• Prepare reports and deliver insights showing measurable value to customers.
• Demonstrate expertise in Cars Commerce products and the digital automotive marketplace.
• Manage pipeline with Salesforce hygiene, forecasting and structured methodology.
• Travel up to 75% of the time within the territory for face‑to‑face engagement.
• Collaborate with selling and servicing roles to maximize customer value.
