Job summary

Cars Commerce, the Cars.com ecosystem, seeks an Account Executive to drive growth in North & Central New Jersey. You will own relationships with existing clients, drive product adoption, and close upsell opportunities while traveling extensively within the territory.

The role requires strong sales strategy, CRM discipline, and a proven track record in SMB/mid-market advertising or SaaS solutions. Hybrid work model and uncapped incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive B2B sales with media/digital advertising or automotive solutions.
• Proven multi-year quota attainment with specific figures, rankings or outcomes.
• Salesforce proficiency with strong CRM hygiene and reporting.
• Ability to forecast and manage pipeline with discipline and accuracy.
• Experience selling advertising or SaaS solutions to SMB or mid-market.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Financially motivated with a preference for uncapped commission structures.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for Cars Commerce customers, focusing on success, retention and growth.
• Sell products to existing customers and maintain relationships through regular in-person visits within the territory.
• Execute sales strategy, identify and close upsell opportunities; prepare reports showing measurable value.
• Demonstrate Cars Commerce products and ROI to customers.
• Manage pipeline with Salesforce hygiene, forecast accurately, and apply a structured sales methodology.
• Travel at least 75% within the territory for face-to-face engagement.
• Collaborate with selling and servicing teams to maximize customer value.
