Job summary

Descript is seeking an Account Executive to expand our video and AI solutions with businesses worldwide. As an early sales hire, you will shape the sales playbook, refine strategy, and drive revenue growth, partnering with Product and Marketing to scale enterprise and creator sales.

You’ll own the full sales cycle, run product demos for executive-level audiences, and build relationships with enterprise customers, including travel to events and meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in quota-driven B2B SaaS or AI sales.
• Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and close high-value deals.
• Hands-on experience with cold outbound and building a sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and expansion.
• Develop and execute outbound strategies to identify new opportunities.
• Run product demos and lead conversations with multiple stakeholders.
