Job summary

Descript is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue by owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and expansion. You will run product demos and engage at multiple stakeholder levels across enterprise accounts.

You’ll develop outbound strategies, build executive relationships, and collaborate with product and marketing to optimize the customer journey. Travel to conferences and VIP events will be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Quota-carrying B2B SaaS or AI sales experience.
• Experience closing high-value deals.
• Outbound prospecting experience and lead generation.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting to closing and expansion.
• Develop and execute outbound strategies to identify new opportunities.
• Run product demos and lead technical + business conversations across stakeholders.
• Build and manage executive-level relationships with enterprise customers.
• Travel to industry conferences, VIP dinners, and face-to-face meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the customer journey and feed insights into product and marketing.
