Join Ovation as an Account Executive

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Account Executive with a background in higher education sales and an interest in AI and startups to join our team. This remote role involves engaging with higher education faculty, administrators, and students to introduce our innovative solutions.

Major Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet targets in the higher education sector.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in higher education institutions.
  4. Manage sales activities using Salesforce, track progress, and generate reports.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client needs and ensure satisfaction.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, AI advancements, and competitors to position Ovation effectively.
  7. Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads.
  8. Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and proposals.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Several years of sales experience in higher education.
  2. Proven success in new business development and meeting sales goals.
  3. Strong interest in AI technologies and their educational applications.
  4. Experience in startup environments is highly desirable.
  5. Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to work remotely with minimal travel.
