Amazon Connect Account Executive

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Account Executive to lead business development and account management for Amazon Connect, AWS’s cloud-based contact center solution. This role is pivotal in expanding market share, acquiring new customers, and driving digital transformation for enterprises through intelligent, scalable contact center solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities for Amazon Connect across targeted industries.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, solution scoping, proposal development, contract negotiation, and close.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Customer Experience, and Procurement leaders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with AWS Solution Architects, Marketing, Partner Managers, and Product Teams to deliver customized, value-driven solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and evangelist for Amazon Connect, demonstrating deep knowledge of contact center operations, AI/ML integrations, and cloud-based scalability.
  • Conduct customer business reviews, prepare executive briefings, and deliver compelling presentations and demos.
  • Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and report on performance.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in customer experience (CX) and cloud contact centers.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, preferably in SaaS, cloud services, or contact center technology.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling to enterprise or mid-market clients in the U.S.
  • Strong understanding of cloud contact center technologies and/or CX platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30%) as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling Amazon Connect, AWS solutions, or similar platforms (e.g., Genesys, NICE, Five9, Talkdesk).
  • Understanding of AWS ecosystem and cloud architectures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled contact center capabilities (e.g., sentiment analysis, real-time transcription, chatbots).
