Position Overview:

We are looking for a driven and experienced Account Executive to join Upside Search. In this role, you will be responsible for leading business development efforts and building relationships with clients in the Private Equity industry. Your primary focus will be on selling recruitment consulting services, specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of Private Equity firms. You will work closely with these firms to assess their recruitment needs, provide strategic solutions, and close sales. Developing long-term partnerships with Private Equity clients will be a key aspect of your success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both the Private Equity and recruitment/staffing industries, allowing you to effectively sell customized recruitment solutions that support the growth and strategic objectives of PE firms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Actively prospect and generate new client leads, with a specific focus on Private Equity firms.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction with Upside Search’s services.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand client recruitment needs and develop tailored solutions that align with their business objectives, focusing on recruitment consulting projects.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Educate clients on Upside Search's consulting services, emphasizing our ability to create bespoke recruitment solutions.
  • Contract Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close new contracts in collaboration with the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with Recruitment Team: Work closely with the recruitment consultants to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a sales and business development role, specifically selling to Private Equity firms.
  • Experience in a sales/business development role within staffing or recruitment firms is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related
  • Deep understanding of the Private Equity industry
  • Ability to identify client challenges and provide strategic, tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Strong ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
