KBKG LLC, a specialty tax provider, seeks an Account Executive to identify, qualify, and convert prospective clients through the full sales process—from initial outreach to contract execution. This role builds relationships with key decision-makers and educates prospects on KBKG’s tax services, developing tailored solutions aligned with client needs.

The ideal candidate is proactive, excels at pipeline management, closes new business, and ensures a smooth handoff to service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (B2B sales within CPA, tax, or financial services).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Technologically proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce or HubSpot is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients within the target market or industry verticals.
  • Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Conduct discovery calls to assess fit, need, authority, budget, and timeline.
  • Evaluate whether prospects meet eligibility criteria (e.g., for specific tax credits or services).
  • Educate prospects on relevant service offerings and value proposition.
  • Log qualification details and insights in the CRM for visibility and tracking.
  • Build rapport with key decision-makers (CFOs, controllers, owners, etc.).
  • Tailor communication and sales approach based on client type and service line.
  • Handle objections and questions confidently, leveraging service line expertise.
  • Nurture relationships through multiple touchpoints across the buyer journey.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, or estimates tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with technical team or subject matter experts as needed during late-stage conversations.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing within pre-approved guidelines.
  • Own the contract signing and deal-closing process.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from sales to service delivery teams.
  • Provide internal teams with all necessary background, context, and documentation.
  • Stay engaged to support early stages of client onboarding, if needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and deal stages in the CRM.
  • Forecast revenue and pipeline health regularly.
  • Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Salary

base of $70,000 - 80,000; OTE $120,000 - 180,000

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
