This well-known Global Technology Firm is looking for a Northern California Account Executive to join their fast-growing company and sales team.SUMMARY:Increase sales by servicing and growing sales at existing dealers as assigned by theVP Sales and/or Sales Manager as well as assisting with finding / breaking new dealers. Maintain thorough knowledge of industry products and services. Create proposals, negotiate agreements, establish pricing for customers. Interface with Purchasing, Production, Marketing, Product Management and Accounting departments regarding product needs, lead times, and credit issues. Assist VP Sales and/or Sales Manager in creation of proposals, pricing and marketing program implementation related to assigned accounts. Oversee training of Sales Representatives and Customer Service Reps at customer sites.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:- Service existing dealers thoroughly, technically, and administratively.
- Find and exploit opportunities to grow sales at existing dealers while also identifying and onboarding new dealers.
- Supervise Sales Representatives in the performance of their duties.
- Expand sales to existing accounts through new and existing products and services.
- Monitor team goals/quotas. Take appropriate action and focus on meeting or exceeding goals as required.
- Assist VP Sales and/or Sales Manager in developing new methods and approaches to finding and attracting new business.
- Prioritize and concentrate efforts on most attractive accounts.
- Assist management in direction of increased customer service, revenue and gross profit support.
- Assist VP Sales and/or Sales Manager in direction of new product, marketing, pricing, policy, and procedure developments.
- Communicate ideas, challenges, problems as they arise.
- Contribute to a healthy, happy, productive company environment.
- Know the product line thoroughly and continue to keep current on new products as they are introduced.
- Reports to Vice President Sales and/or Sales Manager
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:- 1-3 years’ experience in the commercial furniture channel.
- Minimum of six months’ experience as a Sr. Sales Representative or equivalent product knowledge and experience.
- Familiarity with consumer electronics space.
- Pleasant and professional demeanor with exceptional communication skills.
- Familiarity with (or ability to quickly learn) standard business productivity tools (Google Workspace, CRM tools, Microsoft Office, Apple iWork)
- Ability to convey ideas clearly in written form and to proofread documents.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to meet company and personal goals, use effective selling techniques, motivate others, and utilize excellent time management and organizational skills.
