Job summary

City Produce seeks a proactive Sales/Account Representative to service existing accounts, secure new business, and drive growth across the Florida territory. You will coordinate with inside sales and the transportation team to meet delivery needs and travel between Panama City Beach, Port St.

Joe, and Fort Walton Beach. Offering a base salary of $65,000–$100,000, the role includes a car allowance, fuel card, cell phone, and laptop, plus comprehensive health benefits, a 401K match, paid vacation,

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in business, sales, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in produce/food service is preferred but not required.
• Proficient use of MS Office and standard email systems.

Responsibilities

• Service existing accounts; obtain orders; develop new accounts by planning daily calls.
• Increase customer sales in line with company objectives.
• Maintain awareness of company activities, industry trends, and regulations.
• Report daily activities to Area Sales Manager.
• Train new representatives on sales policies and procedures as needed.
• Coordinate with inside sales and transportation to meet delivery requirements.
• Travel frequently within Panama City Beach, FL and Port St Joe, FL, with occasional trips to Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Essential Functions:

• Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
• Increase customer sales in accordance with objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations.
• Report daily activities on a consistent basis to the Area Sales Manager.
• Train new representatives on the company's sales policies and procedures as needed.
• Communicate with the inside sales department and the transportation department to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Travel between Panama City Beach, FL and Port St Joe, FL, and occasionally to warehouse in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

• 2+ years successful related sales experience with an understanding and knowledge of produce food service-related products preferred, but not required
• Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office and common E-Mail systems

Work Schedule:

• Day Shift - 8:00am-5:00pm
• 45-55 hours per week
• One Saturday per month at the warehouse

Compensation:

• Base $65,000-$100,000, based on experience and territory selected for

Physical Demands:

• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Travel as needed
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Work in cold and wet environments
