City Produce in Florida is seeking an experienced inside sales professional to service existing accounts, expand the customer base, and coordinate with logistics. The role includes travel across Panama City Beach, Port St Joe, and a Fort Walton Beach warehouse, and requires strong negotiation and relationship skills.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree in business or related field, 2+ years sales experience in produce or food service, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Essential Functions:

• Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
• Increase customer sales in accordance with objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations.
• Report daily activities on a consistent basis to the Area Sales Manager.
• Train new representatives on the company’s sales policies and procedures as needed.
• Communicate with the inside sales department and the transportation department to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Travel between Panama City Beach, FL and Port St Joe, FL, and occasionally to warehouse in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

• Associate’s degree in business administration, management, sales, or a related field.
• 2+ years successful related sales experience with an understanding and knowledge of produce food service-related products preferred, but not required
• Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office and common E-Mail systems

Work Schedule:

• Day Shift – 8:00am-5:00pm
• 45-55 hours per week
• One Saturday per month at the warehouse

Compensation:

• Base $65,000-$100,000, based on experience and territory selected for

Physical Demands:

• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Travel as needed
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Work in cold and wet environments
