The Account Executive will focus on closing deals from inbound and outbound sources, managing the full sales cycle for complex products and services. The role emphasizes high-velocity sales with a consultative approach, handling upsells and expansions within their portfolio, and building an outbound pipeline to meet revenue targets.

Proper is based in San Francisco. This position is remote but ideally located in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pipeline Management & Sales Execution: Close deals from inbound leads, SDR-sourced opportunities, and self-sourced outbound activities. Maintain a high-velocity sales cycle, managing multiple opportunities efficiently.
  2. Inbound, Outbound, and Upsell Collaboration: Manage the pipeline from inbound marketing and SDR leads, supplementing with an outbound pipeline. Handle upsells within your existing portfolio to increase ARR.
  3. Consultative Sales Approach: Use a consultative selling style to explain complex products, ensuring clients understand the value. Simplify technical aspects for a broad audience.
  4. Data and Metrics Tracking: Track key metrics like conversion rates (aiming for at least 30%) and sales cycle velocity. Regularly review pipeline health and provide data-driven insights.
  5. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with SDRs, marketing, product, and sales leadership to align strategies, provide feedback, and ensure effective messaging.
Required Hard Skills
  • 5-7 years of sales experience managing full sales cycles.
  • Proven success in meeting/exceeding quotas with at least 30% conversion rate.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools, using data to optimize results.
  • Ability to learn and communicate complex products with a solutions-oriented approach.
Required Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex topics simply.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities across pipelines.
  • A growth mindset focused on continuous improvement and adaptation.
Experience
  • Experience in high-growth tech or SaaS sales environments.
  • Experience selling in real estate or accounting services sectors.
  • Experience with upselling and account expansion.
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 USD/year + OTE
  • Benefits include:
· Hybrid work model
· One-time home office furnishing allowance: $200 USD
