The Role

We are seeking a Territory Account Executive to join our new field sales team. This role focuses on providing a local, authentic experience to our sellers across various markets. You will engage with businesses such as restaurants, retailers, and service providers, primarily through in-person interactions, to demonstrate Square’s solutions, build relationships, and close deals. You will also develop strategies to increase market share, generate leads, and enhance brand awareness within your community.

You Will

  • Sell face-to-face approximately 80% of the time, sourcing leads, conducting discovery, demos, and closing sales within your market.
  • Maintain relationships with active Square sellers, monitor account health, and collaborate with support teams for referrals and onboarding.
  • Create a robust sales pipeline through community outreach, drop-ins, partnerships, and events.
  • Develop expertise in Square hardware and software solutions.
  • Partner with channel sales to identify and develop referral channels.
  • Understand the needs of key vertical markets such as restaurants, retail, and services.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, utilizing Salesforce for tracking activities and outcomes.

You Have

  • Fluency in Korean or Mandarin & English.
  • At least 3 years of full-cycle sales experience, including field sales.
  • Over 2 years of experience in payment processing or related technologies.
  • Over 1 year of experience working with or selling to restaurants, retail, or service businesses.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Business development skills, including hunting and cold calling.
  • Reliable transportation and residence within the market area.
  • Collaborative attitude and Salesforce experience.
  • Understanding of restaurant, retail, or service operations.
