Job Purpose:

Account Executive is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for the company by acquiring new clients, expanding existing accounts, and promoting the organization's products or services. Account Executives will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions. This role involves strategic selling, effective communication, and collaboration with internal teams to meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business .

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for sales opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Negotiate equipment sales and service contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Facilitate the timely and successful implementation of our solutions in accordance with customer demands and objectives by developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to achieve sales targets by developing business with existing clients and/or identifying areas of opportunity.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to sales associates, fostering their professional growth and sales skills development.
  • Prepare account status reports and make daily changes to CRM software.
  • Maintain CRM data on a daily basis, or as needed, with accurate customer information and the latest status of equipment sales and service opportunities.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales performance and annual forecasts)
  • Assist with simple client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Collaborate with team to find and grow opportunities within territory.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact, present, and influence important stakeholders at all levels of the business,including executive and C-level.
  • Manage multiple account management projects at a time.
  • Update expense reports on a weekly basis.
  • Travel to customer sites to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal.
  • Provide sales quotations and respond to requests for proposals.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Associates degree or combined work experience
  • Demonstrated technical acumen, business knowledge, ability to negotiate, and commitment to teamwork
