Job summary

Brenntag Great Lakes is seeking an Account Coordinator to manage assigned accounts, process customer orders, and partner with Sales to answer product questions. You will monitor inventory and delivery dates to ensure on-time fulfillment.

You will communicate clearly with customers and internal teams, resolve issues, and support rush requests from purchasing, inventory control, and traffic. The role requires strong organizational skills and a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to calculate figures and percentages such as discounts, interest, commissions

Responsibilities

• Process all customer orders for the accounts assigned.
• Partner with Sales Representatives to resolve customer product questions.
• Monitor inventory, order status and delivery dates to ensure on-time delivery.
• Proactively notify customers of potential delivery problems and provide alternatives.
• Coordinate with internal resources (purchasing, inventory control, traffic) to source and suggest alternatives.
• Assist with expediting rush product requests.
