Matt Scaling - State Farm Agent in Plano, TX is hiring an Account Associate to support our sales team with outbound outreach, lead follow-up, and appointment setting. You’ll work with agency-provided lists, reconnect past customers, and help move opportunities to the next step.
This role emphasizes talking with people over the phone, building rapport, and achieving measurable outreach goals. No previous insurance license required; training provided, with part-time hours and potential to grow
As an Account Associate on our agency team, you'll work in a sales support and customer outreach role, helping create new business opportunities by connecting with prospective customers, former customers, and leads.
Your primary focus will be outbound outreach, follow-up, and appointment setting for our licensed sales team. You'll work from agency-provided lead and prospect lists, reconnect with former customers, follow up with people who have previously expressed interest, and help move promising opportunities to the next step.
This is not primarily an account-service position. We're looking for someone who enjoys talking with people, is comfortable picking up the phone, and can consistently turn outreach into conversations and opportunities.
No insurance experience or insurance license is required to start. We'll provide training and help you learn the business.
We are primarily looking for someone to work part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per week with our agency. We have flexibility in how those hours are scheduled for the right candidate.
If you are looking for full-time employment, we still encourage you to apply. We have experience partnering with other local State Farm agents on shared team member arrangements to provide full-time schedules, allowing the right person to work with more than one agency while maintaining a consistent full-time schedule.
We see this as an entry point into a larger insurance career for the right person. A successful team member may have the opportunity to pursue insurance licensing, take on additional responsibilities, and potentially advance into a full-time Account Manager or other licensed agency position.
