Job summary

Daniels-Head Insurance Agency is seeking an Account Associate to support Account Executives in servicing professional liability clients. You will handle inquiries, renewals, and policy changes while documenting communications and maintaining data in the agency system.

Ideal candidates are team players who are eager to learn, detail oriented, and able to work autonomously. Training for the P&C license is provided by the agency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to be mentored and to learn.
• Must be self-motivated, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Attention to deadlines and detail is essential.
• Demonstrated skill in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Must be able to obtain a P&C insurance license; training provided by the agency.

Responsibilities

Daniels-Head Insurance Agency (https://www.dhia.com) is seeking a motivated individual to join our winning team for the role of Account Associate. We are seeking an individual who is a team player and understands the importance of exceptional customer service.

The Account Associate will support agency Account Executives in servicing professional liability insurance customers and prospects in compliance with departmental goals and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service
• Respond to insurance inquiries including policy changes and billing
• Document and maintain customer files regarding communications, action items, and follow-ups
• Process customer renewals, proposals, policies, endorsements, certificates, invoices, information requests, and finance agreements
• Become skilled in the proprietary agency management system, software, and tools that are used to complete tasks
• Filing
• Assist other team members as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Positive attitude
• A desire to continually learn and willingness to be mentored
• Self-motivated and the ability to work both autonomously and as a team member
• Deadline and detail orientated
• Demonstrated skill in:
