Job summary

Wurth Industry US in Missouri seeks an Account Applications Engineer to be the main technical contact across the organization, supporting customers and internal teams with product application guidance, ECN reviews, and training.

You will analyze fastener applications, identify cost reduction opportunities, conduct line walks and teardowns, and assist on quality concerns while traveling up to 30%.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Experience with fastener related products is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management and self-directed work capabilities.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• CAD software experience a plus (AutoCAD/Pro-Engineer).
• Sales and customer service focus is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify application issues and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Consult on product applications and support sales with demonstrations.
• Serve as technical advisor to internal teams.
• Analyze fastener and assembly-related applications.
• Assist Quality with failure analysis.
• Lead trainings for internal and customer knowledge sharing.
• Support customer visits and new presentations.
• Promote teamwork and provide technical support across departments.
• Improve productivity and efficiency of processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
