Job summary

Wurth Industry US in Gainesville, GA seeks an Account Applications Engineer to be the technical contact across the organization, supporting customers and internal teams. You will provide technical support, review ECNs, perform line walks and teardowns, attend on-site visits, and help standardize processes.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field required.
• Experience with fastener related products is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to relay information clearly.
• Time management and self-direction in a fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking to evaluate alternatives and problems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD experience a plus.
• Sales/customer service focus and understanding of big-picture goals.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel ~30%.

Responsibilities

• Identify application issues and cost-reduction opportunities to meet customer initiatives.
• Consult on product applications, support sales, and demonstrate products.
• Serve as technical advisor for internal teams and departments.
• Analyze fastener and assembly-related applications for troubleshooting.
• Assist Quality in failure mode analysis of fasteners and components.
• Facilitate intercompany and customer training seminars.
• Support sales with customer visits and presentations; promote teamwork.
• Contribute to productivity and efficiency improvements across operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
