Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University seeks a Testing and Assistive Technology Coordinator to lead the Office of Disability and Access Testing Center and oversee assistive technology for students with disabilities.

The role includes managing testing operations, supervising proctors, coordinating testing accommodations, and providing training on assistive tech. It also serves as a campus consultant on digital accessibility, supporting diverse programs and distances.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors degree is required.
• Experience in higher education and/or work with high school or college students is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Testing Center daily operations, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment while meeting accommodations and maintaining academic integrity.
• Recruit, train, and supervise testing proctors for the Testing Center during the academic year.
• Oversee WCOnline for testing appointments for traditional undergraduate programs and coordinate with faculty on testing materials.
• Coordinate and proctor testing accommodations for undergraduate students with disabilities.
• Provide one-on-one and group training for students on specialized software and hardware (screen readers, text-to-speech, etc.).
• Monitor student progress with assigned technology and provide ongoing tech support and troubleshooting.
