Job summary

Howard University Hospital is seeking an Accommodations & Testing Coordinator to oversee daily operations of the Testing Center and serve as the primary contact for students with accommodations. You will ensure compliance with 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, coordinate services, and collaborate with faculty and external partners to meet diverse needs.

The role emphasizes policy development, testing administration, and customer service in a dynamic academic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field and 1–3 years in higher education preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in disability services or accommodations is beneficial.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews to determine services for students with accommodations.
• Review documentation to determine eligibility for accommodations and testing support.
• Coordinate scribe and interpreter services as needed.
• Ensure compliance with testing standards and university policies.
• Develop and revise testing center policies and procedures to maintain standards (NCTA, FERPA, ADA).
