Job summary

Pensacola State College seeks a Director of ADA Services to lead the college-wide ADA Services Department, ensuring compliant accommodations for students with disabilities and safeguarding privacy. You will collaborate with Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Testing Centers, and other offices to meet accessibility needs and manage the departmental budget.

The role reports to the Dean of Students and requires a strong foundation in ADA/504 regulations and a commitment to inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• Three years of professional experience in an academic/school environment.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing students with disabilities.
• Successful results of a criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Directs all activities of the ADA Services Department, including intake of students requesting assistance and arranging accommodations.
• Reviews medical documentation supporting requests for reasonable accommodations and coordinates with ADA Services or other departments to provide them.
• Maintains security and privacy of student medical and disability records.
• Prepares and manages the departmental budget.
• Collaborates with Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Testing Centers, and other College departments to address accessibility needs for students registered with ADA Services.
