UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA is seeking an Access Supervisor to lead patient access operations across multiple locations and supervise a team of about 19 staff. You will oversee clinic and call center functions, drive performance, and enhance the patient experience.

This role supports governance of staffing, workflow, and staff development while ensuring timely, coordinated access to pelvic medicine and urology services. Remote work up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• 3 years direct relevant experience
• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required; Associate’s Degree Preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support a team of approximately 19 patient access and operational staff
• Manage employee schedules, staffing coverage, and daily workflow coordination
• Supervise both clinic-based patient access functions and call center operations
• Monitor productivity metrics and operational performance indicators
• Support staff development through training, coaching, and competency management
• Conduct performance evaluations and assist with employee relations activities
• Address patient concerns and escalations while promoting an exceptional patient experience
• Partner with leadership to improve workflows and operational effectiveness
• Coordinate preparedness efforts for emergencies and operational disruptions
• Provide guidance and support across multiple practice locations
