Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital – Rehab at Springfield is seeking a Patient Access Representative to provide courteous front-desk service and support financial outcomes of patient services.

Responsibilities include scheduling, registration, insurance verification, PHI handling, and payments collection while maintaining positive patient relations and contributing to Dayton Children’s Hospital financial solvency. Shift Tue-Fri 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, full-time, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience (front desk/patient facing).
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and register patients.
• Verify insurance, transcribe orders and perform data entry.
• Collect payments and file protected health information (PHI) while maintaining patient relations and satisfaction.
