J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College is seeking an Access Services Manager for the Parham Campus Library. Under the Head Librarian, you will supervise all circulation functions for full-time and part-time staff and student assistants and produce routine statistical reports.
This nonexempt, full-time role coordinates technology lending, oversees materials processing, and supports equity-focused service and data-informed planning to maximize student success across Reynolds Libraries.

Under the general guidance and direction of the Head Librarian, the Access Services Manager supervises and manages the daily operations of Access Services including all circulation functions for all full-time and part-time classified staff members and student assistants at the Parham Campus Library. As a member of the Library Management Team, the position coordinates and produces statistical reports for library activities, coordinates technology lending at one location, and oversees and supports materials processing operations for the Reynolds Libraries.
This position provides a full range of paraprofessional library services that require a high level of decision-making and independence, utilizing general knowledge of library practices. The position also assists with the management of the supplies budget.
The Access Services Manager supports the library’s strategic priority to collaborate internally and externally to make equity-conscious decisions and develop data-informed strategic plans to maximize impact at the college, group, and individual levels. The position is committed to meeting students where they are without judgment and providing support that promotes equity and success.
