  • Proficiency in MS Excel and problem-solving approaches.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and MS Visio.
  • Experience with quality/operations improvement in healthcare or related fields.

  • Lead and facilitate access improvement initiatives, including core system scheduling algorithm design.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop system-wide policies for patient access and scheduling.
  • Develop and update system scheduling design policies with cross-functional teams.

  • Apply lean six sigma, agile, and other methodologies to address process inefficiencies.

Our team is dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency across Henry Ford Health, focusing on patient access and scheduling optimization. We collaborate with various departments, including Virtual Care, MyChart, and Analytics, to ensure seamless and patient-friendly processes.

Role Overview

As an Access Optimization Consultant, you will lead and facilitate access improvement initiatives, including core system scheduling algorithm design. You'll serve as a subject matter expert in scheduling build and patient access, collaborating with stakeholders to develop system-wide policies. Your work will directly impact patient experience, operational efficiency, and cost reduction across Henry Ford Health's ambulatory operations.
